The Pavillon Daru is destroyed. Pieces of the greenish-grey metal roof dangle from the broken edges of the building.

We look down through a large hole blown in the broken skylights of the Salle des Sept Mètres. The camera zooms in on the parquet floor far below. On the right of the drawing is the destroyed Cour du Sphinx.
